Hire Process and Hire Agreement
1. Choose the date you wish to hire the item for. If its all ready booked it will say "unavailable".
2. Add it to your cart and please carefully read and agree to our terms and conditions of hire.
3. Complete shipping & Payment.
4. Your garment will arrive 1 -2 days before your selected date if enough time has been given. Pick up and delivery is available and to be verbally organised.
5. Enjoy and make sure to tag us on our social media pages of you looking stunning!
6. Return your item UNWASHED in whatever way you have organised with Lumps & Bumps Boutique.
Terms and Conditions of Hire
By entering or using any part of www.lumpsandbumps.co.nz you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”). If you do not agree to any or all of this Agreement, our services will not be available to you (“the Renter”).
These terms and conditions are a legal agreement between you and Lumps & Bumps Boutique. The terms and conditions are established by us, and you use the services that we provide, which you submit your personal information, order our products, and use the information provided for further action via our website at www.lumpsandbumps.co.nz
Upon delivery of the goods to you, you bear responsibility for the product.
All Prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
The rental fee for the products will be all charges listed on the checkout page. Upon submitting an order we will either require a credit or debit card charge of the rental fee immediately. The rental fee includes standard postage and does not include overnight courier.
Lumps & Bumps Boutique has a strict no cancellations policy so please ensure you are certain about your order and pre try on if need be. Should there be an issue or error in your order it is your obligation to contact us immediately to change any details via email to email@example.com.
When booking your rental date, please select the date you are planning on wearing the dress. If you intend to wear the outfit early in the day then enter the day before you wish to wear it to ensure it arrives in time. Please book at least 2 days in advance before the day you wish to wear the item to ensure that we have received your payment, and for us to have enough time to post it to you. Last minute orders placed on Friday for Saturday are an exception to this. If you are planning on picking up an item you may book it on the same day you wish to wear the item, this is the same with orders you are placing and requesting same day delivery.

Payment is accepted through our website by either a credit card, debit card or Afterpay. The payment is to be made immediately the time of your booking to secure the garment for your selected date. Please ensure you select the exact date the rental is needed.
Payment can also be made instore.
Lumps & Bumps Boutique take no liability should an item not arrive to you on time due to an issue with postage. We post all of our items 2-3 days prior to your selected date.
We do not refund or credit if an item does not fit you. We allow try on's for our New Plymouth Renters but cannot post items to try on. If you are unsure if an item will fit you we suggest you ask for measurements.
A late fee of $25 a day will be charged each additional day the return is late. The Renter shall be notified via email.
The Renter will also incur the cost of any following hire of the same garment which cannot be met due to the delay in return. You will be charged the cost of the next hire minus the shipping cost.
If you have not returned the goods within 20 days after the return date of the product, your return will be considered a non-return and Lumps & Bumps Boutique shall have the right to charge you 100% of the recommended retail value of the goods plus late fees incurred.
CLEANING & ALTERATIONS:
No alterations are to be made to the garment. The dry cleaning charge is included in the hire fee. The Renter should not attempt to clean or press the garment.
The Renter will incur additional charges if the garment is damaged (i.e. beyond normal wear) or no longer wearable. The Renter is liable to pay for the full cost of repair to damaged garments and the full RRP amount of any garment that is no longer wearable. The Renter will be notified if such action needs to take place.
Garments are to be returned in the prepaid postage bag provided or dropped into store. Garments are to be sent the first working day after your event unless pre arranged.
We do not ship internationally.
PICK UP’S AND DROP OFF’S
Pick up and drop off is free of charge. Please ensure you select this option at checkout and email us to make arrangements.
We only drop off in the New Plymouth city area, however you are more than welcome to pick up from our location.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall Lumps & Bumps Boutique be liable to you or any other third party for damage, non-delivery, or loss as a result of any unforeseen circumstances or circumstances considered force majeure.
You assume sole and exclusive responsibility and liability for all claims against you and or damage arising from your use of the goods during your rental period.
